Fancy Friday- Flashback!

Welcome to this months Fancy Friday Blog Hop! Today's theme is "Flashback Friday" & we were supposed to share an old photo of ourselves & use a retired stamp set...I know Crazy, right?!

Anyway I have a ton of retired products & a few pictures so I was happy to use both-
This was taken back in 1980 I suspect.
Its funny because I have a similar picture of Logan when she was 2.

Now on to a mix of something old & something new...

Remember Nature Walk? I love this set & it probably has a permanent home in my collection. Vintage will always be my favorite style & the new Butterfly Basics stamp set is just fabulous for getting that look so that was my "new" thing. This card can easily be creating completely with that set just by replacing the bird cage with the pretty butterfly but I love that bird cage!

I'm excited to see which sets the other girls have resurrected so lets keep hoppin'
on to the amazing Becky Cowley :)

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Happy Birthday

Greetings from Orlando & welcome to this week's Artisan Design Team blog hop!

Lots of excitement going on over here- last weekend we celebrated our babies 5th birthday &

today my hubby & I are in Orlando for Stampin Up's annual Leadership conference! It's the first time we have been away together since before that little cutie was born. If you see roaming around in Orlando feel free to say hi!

Ok now lets talk about this week projects-
I'm pretty sure everyone is in love with the new Balloon framelits, right?

This little scrappy card measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 & it was the perfect size to wrap up in a Berry Basket with a small gift for a friend!

Next up is another card I made for another friend that actually has the same birthday as my little girl :)

I used the fun balloon that I created in the technique video I posted last week.
Just an FYI about that- I realized that Youtube didn't upload my last 2 videos to the correct account so if you hit subscribe to channel on those there probably won't be much to see so if you want to subscribe to the channel I normally use just click the little Youtube icon on the top right of my blog. Also if you want to see what I am up to in Orlando or anytime really, subscribe to me on Instagram!

Ok let's go visit the amazing Sarah Sagert!

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Custom Stencils

Welcome to this weeks Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!
I had the honor of writing up a blog post for Stampin Up's blog last summer & it featured the custom stencil technique (HERE) so I wanted to make a few more stencils using the Balloon Framelits (but you can use any framelits, really)-

Anyway I especially loved the balloon but wished it had some other sizes included so I decided to create some! Figured it was easier to explain in a video instead of typing it up so I have one uploading to my YouTube channel as we speak-

You can make larger or smaller balloons by using the Circle & Balloon Framelits.  I used the "tassel" to make the balloon bottoms for these smaller balloons but if you want to go larger I would suggest cutting the large balloon & then the larger circles. You can also make some balloon punch art by attaching these as well. If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen this idea already. ;)

Stencils are great because you use them with so many mediums like ink sprays, sponging, paint, watercoloring, spackle, etc.

As soon as the video is ready I will add it here & hopefully everything will make more sense after you watch it. Lol!
Also there are a few more cards featured in the video & I will post those photos tomorrow.

Alrighty lets hop on over to see what Sarah is up to~

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Mini Treat Bags

Welcome to this weeks ADT Blog Hop! This week we are sharing the projects that we created for Stampin Up's Facebook page & it is always such a treat to see what all the other ladies have created!

We had a box full of so many amazing products but I think I was most excited about the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits! Seriously how stinkin adorable are these & super easy to put together.

I was a little concerned about the adhesive showing through the vellum but the Fast Fuse worked pretty well. It has become my go to adhesive for everything I make lately.

Alrighty I have one more project to show before you head over to visit Sarah-

This card was definitely inspired by the fabulous cards Krista shared a couple weeks ago- seriously Jaw On The Floor when I saw those!!!!!

My friends came over for a new catalog kick off party & this was the Make n Take I prepared for them.  Everyone was pretty excited to play with the new products & all their cards came out so lovely!

Ok time to hop along- Sarah always inspires me so I can't wait to see what she has made this week!

Stampin Up Artisan Blog Hop- Hey Handsome

Welcome to this weeks Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! It is crazy to think that we are half way through our reign & a new Design Team will be crowned in a few months...waaahh! Ok well no need to cry over that yet since we still have a whole bunch of fun to share with you!
In our box this month we got a stash of Valentine toys & if you follow me on Instagram you already know about the new man in my life...LOL! Kidding of course! Anyway back to the cards- I must admit this Lumberjack had to grow on me a little but once he got inky I was smitten...

And that tree trunk is seriously adorbs!
So I had another date with this guy & my Blendabilities today to make a funny card for my hubby.
I am sure he will chuckle at this one-

So I did alter the guy a bit so I could add googly eyes to give him a bit of a different look. Next time I might just mask the cheeks & then I won't have to alter his face so much but I was happy with it anyway. One detail that you can't see is the addition of the dimension on his beard, hat, & some other areas. Since my hubby is hard to impress I had to think of something a bit different. If you haven't tried that technique before it is really fun, especially when you use the Blendabilities because you can see the colors on the back of your paper so its easier to run your stylus over it. Am I making any sense- do we need a video on this? Just let me know, I would be happy to do one.
Ok lets hop on over to visit Sarah!
